Children of the Earth

We all are children of the Earth.
We're all descended of one birth.
We're all a family, wholly born --
With eyes and ears and heads and hands,
With feet and faces, hearts
And all that is in between.

One Holy Father have we all,
Who shares His fire to nourish all.
One Sacred Mother we are born --
With leaves and limbs and stones and stars,
With fields and fire and seas
And all that is in between.

So, let us all with Family pride,
Desert our wars from every side.
Let us unite in one great voice --
With eyes and ears, and heads and hands,
With leaves and limbs, and stones and stars,
With feet and fields,
With face and fire,
With seas and hearts...
And all that is in between.
