In This Moment

Now,
in this moment,
as the air of life
flows in and out -
I give thanks.
I give thanks.

Here,
in this time,
as the planets share
their sacred dance
of spin and sway -
I give thanks.
I give thanks.

For we share
this holy moment,
living lives of seeking,
growing, learning -
yearning for the reason,
rhythm, pattern, plan -
to make it all make sense -
to put the whole in place
for our minds.

But, we cannot
know the way
the whole flows.
We cannot see
the puzzle fit
with pieces placed.

We simply
do our part,
each one of us,
each breath of life.

We simply
do our part,
each one of us,
in partnership.

We do our part
and trust,
that, as we do,
that, others do,
and all do live
in harmony,
dynamic harmony,
respectful harmony,
loving harmony.

And in that doing,
we are one.

And as the planets dance,
we are one.

And as we share life's air,
we are one.

And as we are,
simply are,
we are one.
